The Comprehensive Plan for the City of Sunbury contains all the elements required by the Municipalities Planning Code. In addition, the plan has identified the key to the ‘New City.’ The city contains nearly 100 acres of industrial land that sits vacant or is underutilized. The creative re-use of historic buildings and the re-design of old industrial sites - can create whole new neighborhoods and encourage redevelopment and reinvestment in the city.
