Recoginized by the US EPA as one of the nation’s 12 best watershed restoration projects, the Lititz Run project was a case study for community-involved resource planning and restoration. Components of the restoration included Agricultural Best Management Practices, GIS / Restoration Potential Mapping, Forested Riparian Buffer Plantings, Streambank Stabilization and construction of a ‘Water Quality Facility.’
