Brian was the lead consultant conducting a feasibility assessment for constructing a 12-mile trail connecting the Susquehanna river towns of Danville and Bloomsburg. The study examined the natural and cultural resources of the river corridor and developed the partnerships necessary for land acquisition, trail design and construction and the operations and long-term maintenance of the facility. The trail will use the remnants of the historic North Branch Pennsylvania Canal to create a pedestrian and bicycle trail to encourage healthy outdoor recreation and spur reinvestment into core community neighborhoods and downtowns.
